Wonderful day!!!

Went to Mt Maunganui today and OMG my friends batch is not a fucken batch it is a mansion... or as Corbin would say CASTLE OMG it was beautiful

Day was beautiful and I am sun burnt and I boogie boarded woohoooooo it was great, it was great but I drank too much alcohol and hubby had to drive home and we have only just arrived home. Ate to much WAY WAY WAY too much and tomorrow's weigh in is going to be a gain but I had so much fun I don't care. I know I am going to lose the weight and I still want to have a great holiday and then will be back again to being good on Monday.

It was the best day we have had in ages.

I took a couple of photos and will put some photos up tomorrow.

Going back there to stay for the weekend on the 20th and we all can't wait.

Love ya all

Photos

Got my monthly Friday night and felt like crap ever since.

Gained 200 grams this week so I am back up to 118.9 grrrr but I suppose I should know by now that I lose one week and gain the next even though I tracked and didn't do much different than I did the week before grrr what the hell is up with my body.

The last couple of days I have been doing creative things... painting my new paper trays that my husband made for my scrapbooking paper... soooooo exciting. I chose white and I shouldn't have grrr because it is the hardest thing to paint as you have to do at least 3 coats instead of 2 coats.

Had a BBQ on Saturday with Pam and my MIL at our place and it was a great night and the BBQ is fantastic. We went up to the temple to see the Christmas lights and I got to use my camera and tried a lot of different ways to take the photos so they would come out at night time... and some artistic ways too and I think they turned out ok he he he. I might even do a Xmas page with them tomorrow as Xmas day is going to be a chill out day apart from the getting the Xmas lunch done.

I have wanted to spend spend spend lately and can't seem to control the spending... and it isn't like I have the money to do it... sometimes I think I spend when I am depressed with my life and there is no other thing that is satisfying it? The spending isn't making me feel any better.... hmmm but really there isn't anything that I am unhappy with as far as I know... as I have a wonderful hubby, great family, great home etc... there isn't anything there that I am unhappy about.

Ok Pictures are out of order and can't be stuffed to fix he he he

Look at my ham yummmmmmmy.... I did it with watties bit on the side sweet chilli and rum and oranges hmmmmmmm.... it was beaut.

Day before Xmas we were watching Jamie Oliver and he was making pizza's so we made them for dinner yummmy.... he he he so the first two photos were food ones oops... but I have been ok with my food and not really going over board but not tracking and I will gain but it is just one week in the year that I am not going to track and then I am back on track on Saturday so I am not unhappy about that at all.. plus I have my monthly so in a funk anyway he he it came at the right time.

Christmas Eve we went pea and potatoe picking with Pam, Brianna and Adam and had sooooo much fun and it was a nice day for it.

This is with our haul of peas and potatoes and me in shorts arghhhhhhh hubby taking photos of me with those chubby legs he he he

Corbin loves shelling the peas so he sat down to do that and then mum and Quinn joined in while I did the ham.

Yummmy fresh peas.

This is Pam and then Brianna and the boys running up ahead... such a lovely day.

Unfortunatley for us the peas were all in with the weeds so we had to try and find them he he but the boys were having fun.

Decided this year we would get red potatoes and oohhhh they were yummy cooked and left for cold with olive oil, garlic, paprika, parsley on them OMG I looveee them like this.

We went out on Saturday night to look at the lights and I got some nice photos.

Above is mum and Corbin playing uno spin it was nice to see them playing a game and not sitting and watching tv geesh.

This is Corbin and his friend Lachlan playing rugby in the front yard.... how cute.

Corbin in front of some Xmas lights at Temple View Church.

I decided to be creative with the camera and told Quinn to keep still and I moved the camera so it made the lights go funny he he.

Aren't these lights just beautiful and half of them are those bulbs that conserve energy or something... and by next year they will all be replaced with them.

Hubby.... isn't he just cute he he he

The temple from afar is beautiful.

We had the brassier going so we could roast marshmellows on the Saturday night when we got the BBQ going (that Jeremy got from his mum for Xmas (but early he he)).

All my boys cooking how cute. Pam took this photo above but I think she moved the camera too soon.

So they were the photos before Xmas and I was supposed to upload them but saved them to draft instead grrr but here they are now.

Merry Xmas everyone.

OMG

Why do weekends go so fast...? Maybe it is because we are actually doing things that we want and not doing things that we get paid for hmmm.

I did so much in the weekend and finding it hard to get started in to writing what I did and all the emotions that went with them... So this maybe a long post.

As you all know I was sick from Wednesday till Friday and it was the worst tummy bug I have ever encounted and it drained me a hell of a lot.

So Saturday morning consisted of going out and getting sand so we can finish the side of the house (but never got it down because it rained). We went shopping for a wedding present and a birthday present (for a 6 year old girl that Quinn calls his girlfriend) and OMG don't get me started on the 2 weeks of hearing when is the party when is the party and how many sleeps till her birthday OMG he is infatuated by the girl.

Then we had to wrap them and I made a card and Quinn had to make a card for his girlfriend as well and we had to get ourselves all dressed and ready for the Wedding.

Wedding
It was a very low key wedding apart from them getting dressed up in a Wedding dress and him in a tux. They had a beautiful 1920's car (looked like one of those ganster cars) and Jeremy and I didn't know anyone there expect for the brides mum, brother and a friend of the family. So it was a little nerve wracking walking in to the glass house at the Gardens and seeing all these people looking back at you and we didn't know if we were in the right wedding or not until we saw the Mother of the bride which was a huge relief.

Karina's brother walked her down the eisle and I had tears coming down my face as it was lovely to see and she looked lovely... I was taking photos (as they didn't have a photographer hired as the grooms aunty was supposed to be taking the photos as she did photography) so I took the photos I wanted for me and then after the ceremony.

We were walking out to go for a walk around the gardens while we waited for the reception and the Groom came up to me and asked me to take their wedding photos for them as the aunt had run out of battery (OMG you would think that since she was doing the photos and she had plenty of warning that she would have had batteries wouldn't ya..) so I said yes and took some nice ones (350 to be exact) and about 45 minutes in to taking the photos the aunty came back with a fully charged camera and I was going to bow out... and the groom said he would like us to keep taking them if that was ok. But this aunt made it so difficult for me like I was not wanted and everytime I had a shot set up she would walk in front of me OMG I wanted to slap her how could she do such a thing.. the snooty bitch...

So I backed off and the groom said is everything ok... I said I don't want to tread on any toes and will let her take the photos (I find out during it that she has a film camera so couldn't take that many anyway so I started snapping after that he he he).

Got to the reception (which was a pot luck and we didn't know and didn't bring any food and I felt bad about that) and sat down and the friend of the family came over and said that I was looking fabulous and that I had lost a huge amount of weight and well done and through the night she kept telling me this. It was quite weird he he he.

So glad that is over and done with.

Quinn apparently had a great time at the party and Mum and Corbin had KFC for dinner as my mother in law took them down to get it which was really lovely.

Sunday
Mum said on Saturday night that if we wanted to sleep in then that was fine and she would make breakfast for the boys.

Quinn came up at 8.30 and said Nana wants you downstairs... so I thought Quinn was being his cheeky self and said "did Nana say it or are you being naughty" and then Corbin came up stairs and said "Nana said get here now" SHIT that scared the living daylights out of me.. so went down and she was hunched over the kitchen bench saying "get me to the toilet I feel really bad" and she was as pale as anything. She must have caught the bug I had caught off her but worse this time so the whole day I was checking on her because she didn't look good at all and it scared me a bit.

We went upstairs for most of the day to spring clean my wardrobe and drawers and got rid of so much stuff and organised the clothes in a better way and put up shelving etc and the boys vaccuumed and dusted and OMG it was such a relief to get things down up there as everything else in the house usually gets done first and our room is the last he he he.

We put on a roast lamb and then headed over to my friend Pams place (the one where her ex partner left her and the kids etc) and spend a couple of hours over there and Corbin managed to fall somehow and get his knee in to his lip and his teeth went in to his lip and blood was pouring everywhere OMG it was a little scary to have so much blood coming from my boy.

We showed Pam how to use Trademe to sell things and upload photos etc... and then came home and had dinner...

George
About 9pm the phone rang and I thought WHO THE HELL is ringing on a Sunday night at this time and it was George (Pam's ex and Jeremy's friend)... Jeremy got the phone and said "George" and as soon as that was said I turned the tv off to listen... Jeremy went in to the kitchen so I could watch my show but I couldn't concentrate as George has only phoned once and Jeremy didn't know what to say to him and just said "we are going out can we talk another time" which was at least 8 weeks ago.

I was sooo proud of my husband tonight he is the best husband anyone could have.. any of you that have met him is is a little bit of an introvert but a kind loving guy and doesn't like conflict of any sort and keeps out of things but tonight he didn't and listening to him I think he has been thinking a while about what he would say to George about the situation and basically he said

"George we have been friends for a long time and I don't really want that to stop, but I have to say that I am not happy about how the kids are getting affected in this situation. I don't want to get in to the stuff between you and Pam because frankly it isn't my business but when your daughter is talking to our kids and in return talking to us I need to say something."

George apparently said that he thinks Pam is manipulating his daughter to not come and stay the night and Jeremy said that he didn't think that was the case. He said that she is only 9 and she thinks that her Dad hates her and that her Dad doesn't want to spend time with her and that it was a huge change for her.. she has had her Dad living there for most of her life and now he isn't and he is living with another family it is a lot for a child to take in. He said that telling his daughter that.... if she doesn't stay the night then she cant come over at all is not good and it is hurting his relationship with the kid.

It isn't her fault that all this has happened and maybe if he had her for the days for a while then she might get to like it and then stay and the way he was doing it was not helping her at all. She is a very sad little girl and he wishes that George will sort it out... maybe ring her now and then and just talk to her and let her know that he still cares. (I had tears down my face as my husband was talking)

I think George listened and Jeremy was saying that George wasn't trying to hurt her just that he thought that his daughter wasn't doing this voluntearingly and that Pam was telling her what to do... (but if she was doing that dont' you think she wouldn't let the son go to his place which makes me think he isn't thinking properly).

George said he hasn't been happy for a long time with Pam and stayed because of the kids and that he is really really happy first the first time with this new woman (still think of her as slut sorry everyone) and that DRUM ROLL PLEASE they are engaged OMG after 4 months they are engaged can you believe it!!!!

George said that he felt it was awkquard at the soccer graduation and that Jeremy didn't want anything to do with him. Jeremy said that he had been taken unawares as George had come up from behind and that it was a little awkward but wasn't intentional.

I hope George does the right thing because I have never found (before all this happened) that he was a nasty person he has always been a person that I would count on.

We are not stopping talking to Pam and the kids and he told him that and he also didn't want to finish the relationship with him.

I hope George takes all this the right way and there was more that Jeremy wanted to say but thought that a little at a time would be best or it could turn to custard. He told George we weren't taking sides and that he shouldn't expect us to.

Jeremy said that he thinks George listened and that it might get better.. I do hope so as this little girl is now self hurting herself and telling me and others that her Dad hates her and her mother keeps saying that her Dad doesn't hate her he loves her but he sees things a little differently from her.... She is seeing a counseller on Thursday and I am picking her up from Dancing tonight and they are coming for dinner so hopefully tonight will be a good one.

We did phone Pam to warn her that Jeremy was talking to him and that he might try and phone Brianna (he hasn't seen or talked to his daughter in 5 weeks but has had his son quite a bit).

Pam didn't take it that well.. she knew about the engagement as the son had told her that afternoon after coming from Georges place and the daughter didn't take it well at all. Pam said to me "I will back off now" OMG I let her have it... I said we aren't at school where you are only allowed one friend and that I want to still be friends with her and maybe with George (I am still not sure) and she said that she didn't want to make it difficult for me and Jeremy because we were Georges friend first and this way it will give us an out (Well if any of you really know me I didn't let that settle) I said to her that I want to be friends with both and I wasn't going to go through this again with her thinking that she will back out... I have been friends with her for 11 years not like it has been only 3 months or something and I enjoy her company (so hopefully that is all sorted geesh).

I just want these kids to be happy... I can totally understand that George doesn't love Pam anymore and really there is nothing that can be done about that (and I have told Pam this many of times) but I don't like seeing the kids suffering because two bloody adults can't talk (and really it is George that won't communicate as Pam has tried)...but it isn't fair on the kids.

Sometimes I think George is doing all the money hungry things with the divorce to hurt Pam but doesn't think that he is hurting the kids and maybe he has to stop the hurting before he can see it ya know.

So that was my weekend... GEESH!!!!!
What an emotional one it was.

BUT>>>>>>> I have 2 more days after today and then I am only holiday until the 29th October woohooooooooooo I cannot wait..

Oh oh oh
The Camping saga... geesh I knew it was too good to be true that I had finished this update he he he.

Tania phoned yesterday to see how I was and to say that she phoned Athenree camping ground again to book (which was only 24 hours after she had phoned them) and they said sorry the campsite had been booked now wohoooooo but she managed to book in for Bowentown (which is still at Waihi) and that if she gets in trouble with the tent then can she call on us OMG as her hubby won't be there till the Saturday and she has the 3 kids... I said to her if we aren't in the middle of putting up our awning etc then we could do it. I am not telling her what we are doing again because this is ridiculous.

I said to her "I didn't think that you had a tent" she said no we brought it 2 days ago (the day after I had told her we were going away to Athenree) OMG.... I dread to think how she is going to put the tent up if it is raining with 3 kids.

What a relief that she isn't going to be at the same camping ground it will be great because then I am not going to have to have dinner because they are there and what she wants to have to eat and my kids can relax too... but now can visit her etc because we want to if it works in with us ya know... Plus it is back to just us as a family and that is soooo cool.... I might get some reading in too woohooo.

OK... had enough typing now he he he PHEW.

Weigh in - 6 October 2007

Loss: 200 grams

Current weight: 119.1 kgs (Virgin woohooo)

Total loss from WW: 35.6 kgs

Total loss from start: 40.9

I am not unhappy about this loss. I haven't been to the gym all week and been really miserable and sick and I eat more when I am sick... had too much chocolate icecream... I think it is my comfort food when I have the flu because I want it like you wouldn't believe when I have a cold or flu and I let in to my cravings instead of keeping away. I have to make sure that I think about that next time I am sick and not succumb to it.

But it was a loss!!!

A loss is better than a gain and I have to lose it all again so that is ok with me. Consistancy is what I want.

This week I want to lose my 500 grams and get back to the gym.

Sunday - Gym - Work on lower body

Monday - Gym - Running on treadmill

Tuesday - Gym - Running on treadmill and upper body

Wednesday - Gym - Kickboxing.

So that is all I am willing to commit to so far but I am back to it from tomorrow.

I have changed my weigh in days to Saturdays as weekends are terrible for me and entertaining with summer coming up so I have made it for a Saturday and be really really good for the rest of the week. I was going to change to a Saturday the week before Leenie challenge but didn't because the challenge was given to me on the Monday so I tried to stick to that and OMG did that do my head in having the whole weekend worrying whether I was going to do it or not.

This morning we have spent the morning showing the kids about compasses and how they work so we did a little course in the front yard and they had to use the compass to get there and then they designed a course for us. I took pictures so this afternoon I will upload them and show you.

I think I have worked out what I can get them for xmas now because of the bloody basketball hoop being off the christmas list he he he... but they wanted to use my SLR camera today and I was very uncomfortable about it because it costs $1800 for my camera and in kids hands ohhhh noooo... so we are going to go out today and look for some digital cameras (cheap ones) for them both to have because they love taking photos so much. It will be good because then I am not going to be worried about my camera anymore and then we can go out on a photography day out and take photos... it will be good for summer.

Woohooo I love it when a plan comes together as my kids are hard to buy for that involves them getting their backsides outside. For Xmas we always try to get outside toys and things for them to do to get them away from the tv as it isn't good for them and OMG they are not going to be big like me and not want any exercise and not want to explore things...

So if any of you know of where I can get some reasonably cheap digital cameras for the boys please don't hesitate to tell me.. THANKS.

Will check in later and tell you about my day.

Caravan of love

Ok....

Sunday:

Got all dressed up and went to my work for Black and White appointments and the boys looked sooo cute all dressed up with their hair spiked. Can't wait to see the photos. Corbin was playing silly buggers as he hates to smile when told to smile.. GEESH 8 year olds..

Then did our grocery shopping and came back and we were out at a friends place for a BBQ... it was a good afternoon but the couple that we went to see had had an argument the night before so my friend was really snappy with her other half... it was quite awkward actually.

ChrisH texted to have coffee while she was in Hamilton and I had said yes and forgotten about the fact that we had booked the BBQ in the week beforehand so I had to say no I couldn't make it but could we see her on the way back (I hope we do). Was going to see if my friend minded I ducked out but the mood she was in I didn't want to do that as I don't think she should have been left with hubby or she would have killed him.. he he he makes me appreciate my hubby so so so much more when things like that happen.

Feeling quite bloated today... got me monthly ho hum and everything is bloated and swollen.. I hate monthly's and can't wait till menopause I know I know not all rosy but OMG anything to not have a monthly sometimes. he he he

Jeremy and I have been discussing buying his Dad caravan off them because they have brought a house bus and are going to live in it when they retire... so he phoned his Dad last night to say we are still thinking about it and if it cannot fit on the side of our house then we probably won't be able to buy it as we don't have anywhere to store it ho hum and can't afford to pay for the caravan and also pay for storage... so anyway we have never towed a caravan before either so we are taking it away camping on Labour Weekend so that should be cool. We were going to go tenting but decided we would take the caravan and see how easy it was and if we would use it... so Athenree here we come. Might have to catch up with my LOVELY friend Lyn while we are there he he he and do lots of reading and relaxing and walking along the beach OH THE LIFE...

I would love to have a caravan it has been a dream of mine since I was little to have a family and go camping. Plus we wouldn't have to borrow a trailor (like we usually do) to go camping and also take all the stuff along too. This way we would have it all in the caravan and we could fit the bikes in the caravan too and go go biking while we are away places. It will be great for us that is for sure.

So the trial is for Labour weekend. How exciting.. .I love going away with my family and Athenree is not that far away for a weekend.

It is only costing us $156 for 3 nights for all of us and it includes the hot pools there too. I thought that was reasonable really for a weekend away.. If we had to go to a Motel it would be like $120 a night... not bad not bad at all.

Said to Jeremy that I would like to do it more often if we had the caravan like once a month go for a trip somewhere and save our pennies to do that. Hmmm we shall see.

Anyway love ya all

Mt Maunganui

We got up early and went out to sort Corbin's glasses (yes Helena woohoo we got most of it on insurance OMG what a relief as the Optometrist told us to beforehand and we were waiting back for their reply... thank you though because if they didn't tell us I am glad someone was looking after us he he mwahh). Anyway so we went there to give them the quote number and see how much we would have to contribute to it...

So that being sorted... we took off for Mt Maunganui with mum, the boys and us... got to Cambridge and Quinn was looking pale and in pain so we thought he was constipated so stopped at the super loo's but he went in there but couldn't do anything and then got really quiet.... and was scaring me a little bit (as Quinn is never quiet and always talking ALWAYS) so we stopped at this one gas station place on the way to Mt Maunganui.

We were going to get him something to eat but then he went all pale on us and got us worried. We said to him he needed to go to the loo and so we went to the back of the gas station and sat him on the loo... Corbin and I left Jeremy with him in the loo and I went back out to talk to the lady in the shop out the front... she overheard us and was really caring and I was asking her how much the Auto magazine was (as Quinn loves cars and I wanted to distract him) she said hold on a bit... and she went to the back and got us two auto magazines for Quinn to have on the trip.

We were there about 20 minutes and Quinn must of been constipated because when he came out he was smiling and the lady was happy that everything was good.... and sooooo were we that is for sure.. it was scary and I know when you read this it doesn't sound like much but he was so pale that I was wondering if it was a appendicitis wohooo it wasn't.

We took off for The Mount and stopped to let off Mum at Bayfair Shopping Centre and went in to K Mart with her as there was a sale on. I brought some baskets for my crafts and we got Corbin a swing ball soccer set sooo cool (for xmas). Mum brought a car set for Quinn for Xmas and she got Jeremy and I Kickboxing gloves for our anniversary... We were so happy with that as we would like to do some exercise at home and show the kids that exercise is great. I love kickboxing it is so much fun. Glad we went in now he he he. Got some Xmas presents sorted and that is always a bonus.

Left mum there and we went to the beach. It was lovely and I got to take some photos and spent time with the family. There are some scrapbooking pages below for you to see... sooooo cool doing some pages again I have missed that.

The boys had so much fun and they jumped right in to the water and loved the waves and I was bloody cold just thinking about it we just couldn't keep them out. Their shorts were soaking wet and I just stood there thinking oh well what can I do. We walked for about an hour and a half down the beach and back and my calf muscles are sore now. The day wasn't beautiful but it was a good enough day and better than staying home.

Corbin found a stick and was having fun writing things so Quinn decided he would find one too but the thing was twice the size of him he he he looked so cute (see below). He so loved this and it made a trail and said "now we can find our way back" (just like in Hansel and Gretal he he.

In the car on the way back Quinn said "I would like to thank you for today it was the best ever" and it was so cute. It was like we never went anywhere and this was his first time to the beach. So after being so cute we decided to take them to get icecream... what a lovely New Zealand thing.. beach and icecream.
Hubby decided to take some photos of me too.. ARGHHHH I am getting better with photos but still hate it but after doing a scrapbook page last night I am grateful for the fact that I have the photo to show me how far I have come. I know I am not skinny but I am no as big as I was before (see scrapbook page of me below with the lawnmower March 2005)
Corbin read his book on the way there and was concerned about his brother when he was sick and for all their argueing he does really care about Quinn a lot. I always thought he would hate the sea for some reason... he just wanted to jump in and swim today and it is only spring. His shorts were soaking wet once we had finished but he had the time of his life... didn't want to leave.
He is more subtle in the things he does and really thinks about things. Corbin also has to be coaxed in to having photos taken of him and I like this photo and wanted to do something different so I made it black and white and then put back colour in places that I wanted.. I love my son's red hair and it keeps getting darker and darker every year. I hope he doesn't lose the colour but both hubby and I had our hair colour exactly like that as kids and now we are no longer red heads (except for me from a bottle he he).

Not much to say

Jan 17, 2007 at 8:30 PM

I haven't got much to say but feel like I have to do a post or I will get lazy he he he

I felt more confident today because of my loss last night. 800 grams for me is fantastic.

Went to the gym tonight to my first Kick boxing class with Joy my personal trainer and I worked my butt off. Before I went I had decided that I was going to try things I haven't done before or moves that I have done the easy option to... so tonight I did the jogging instead of the walking fast on the spot and I did full star jumps FULL STAR JUMPS OMG instead of the one step sideways.

I made sure all the hand work was done at the same time and I pushed hard and didn't give in. I sometimes feel like I don't go that extra little mile... I get to the point where I am hurting and then I don't go that extra mile and push through it and after watching The Biggest Loser in the last couple of weeks I have been thinking about the program and then I go through that barrier.
I have not ever wanted it so bad as I have in the last couple of weeks.

I have 22.8 kilos to get under 100 kilos CAN YOU BELIEVE IT???? only 22.8 kilos... not 54.7 kilos like the start of my journey.

Sue... thanks for the offer I appreciate it and I will use it to (you know what I mean)... thank you!
Work was ok today got a little annoyed with the Manager of the centre I have my office in... how useless is she!!

OMG I was sooo sick of covering her backside the last 6 months since she took over (when she had been jointly doing the job for the first 6 months) and she never gives credit where credit is due that I took some problems that she caused in her office today while her boss was there (didn't know she was but I was leaving for the day) and said "you need to sort these out because I am tired of fixing the problems when I have constantly been telling you guys how to do it" I know it was harsh but OMG there is so much you can take and not get credit for before you crack... and today it was me.

I worked full time last week instead of 20 hours a week to fix all the stuff ups that she caused over the holiday break that I think I got to breaking point.

OMG I got flack from Debbie today about not telling her how much I had lost last night.. she made such a big deal with her boss that her boss turned around and said "do you think maybe she lost way more than you had that maybe she didn't want to make you feel small" I just smiled and walked away... realistically she knows that wouldn't happen but why would she be so upset that I didn't tell her....?? don't quite get it... I didn't tell anyone at work when they asked too so that she didn't feel it was just her.

I felt better about it though... I felt like finally this journey was mine and now for all to see... I don't mind on here because of the support and we are all happy for all of our losses... but I feel quilty everytime I tell someone as the meeting how much I had lost because it is never a lot.... I don't want the quilt I want to feel proud of my accomplishments.

WHEW it feels good to just get it off my chest.... and talk talk talk... isn't this the way it is supposed to be? I feel like a journal is my way of getting it off my chest and working on it and not bottling it up inside.

OHHHH I am sore!! sore sore in my arms tonight after class.

Off tomorrow... got a PT with Joy and I am going to treat myself and get my nails done to feel good about myself.

I am going to my uncles funeral on Friday and I haven't seen most of the people that are coming in a couple of years as they live a long way away and hopefully someone will notice the difference in me... not that they are there for that but sometimes it is nice to talk about something else... It is bringing back a lot of upset moments for me at the moment and especially about my Dad. I so know what my cousin is going through at the moment and I hope to God that she has spent as much time with her Dad before he died because you can never get the time back.....

Anyway I have rambled on too much now.

Love Chubbymum

Christmas Day - 25 December 2006

Dec 25, 2006 at 10:09 PM

Was really ill Christmas Eve night and slept like 2 hours and felt like I had a tummy bug or something it was not nice at all.

Really really full and ate way way too much and drank too much and now the day is over I am sooo glad.

I reckon if my brother in law marries his girlfriend Annabelle then I am going to have a great sister in law as she is just adorable and we had so much in common. She started laughing when she saw one of the presents I got my mother in law it was a brooch from Trade Aide as my mother in law loves things hand made etc and Annabelle was laughing because they almost got the same brooch for her woooowww scary..

Annabelle is also a James Bond fanatic as well! We even have the same size shoe he he he as she wore my sneakers when we went for a walk this afternoon. Too freaky that is for sure. We got on soooo well and I enjoyed her company today.

The boys were exstatic today with all the presents... I must admit they got spoilt rotten but they are only young once and we don't buy much other than birthdays or Christmas so it doesn't bother me.

Lunch was fantastic and conversation was fantastic and sometimes I wonder how my brother in law found such a wonderful girl that is for sure.

Kids got skateboards for Xmas and sooo sooo sooo many other things.

Had a lovely walk with the BIL and girlfriend and MIL and hubby and went up to the new playground (kids decided to stay home with their toys and my mother) and we played on the swings and ropes etc it was like being a teenager again.

Found out that Annabelle and I LOVE James Bond and so we are going on on Friday 29th to see the New James Bond movie called Casino Royale and then going out for dinner afterwards (with BIL and hubby too of course).

On Boxing day we went to hubby's step brother in laws to get together with hubby's Dad and his stepmum for Xmas and while there hubby's step brother and sister in law asked if they could go to the James Bond movie too so it will be quite good that all of us get out and go to the movies and dinner... like a real family... even though it is a strange mixture of a family I reckon getting along will make things so much nicer.

Anyway Good Christmas and Boxing day I reckon.

Love ya all
CM

Scrapbooking Fever

I have got digital scrapbooking fever and made a couple more

Went for a walk this morning at 11am with Debbie around the lake which is 4km and we took my boys on their scooters. It was soo much fun and there were santas running around the lake in santa suits... as a fundraiser... it was soo funny.

It was a good hour we went for a walk and the boys enjoyed it too. We went to the playground afterwards so the kids could play and Corbin saw a school friend of his so he enjoyed that a lot. We went and got the boys an ice cream afterwards.

I got home and did some more digital scrapbooking while hubby took the boys to the Christmas parade. I didn't go because it was too hot and I hate being in a crowd that big it makes me nervous so it gave me a chance to have some time to myself.

We are watching James Bond movies now he he he as a friend of hubby's loaned it to us over Xmas as I am a Total fan.

Weekend was a full on one.. hope everyone is having a great time.

I'm in the Zone hubby says

My hubby says I am finally in the zone and that I need to keep doing what I am doing.

I lost 1 kilo this week! OMG I feel totally in Zone

So I have now lost 32.5 woohooo (2.5 kilos to go till my 35 woohooo and 2.3 to get to my teens)

I am in debt to my WW leader ladies because they finally got it through my head that I was being too strict on myself and for me to have little treats. They are so supportive and always there and I am soooo greatful to them for that.

I am sooo happy with the Geneen Roth books as they are making me think too and making me realise that when I want something to have it but in moderation because if not I am going to eat too much to make up for it when what I really want I am not having.

I also thank all you ladies that have been with me and that have been commenting because without you guys I wouldn't have survived as well.

In the WW meeting tonight I said to one lady "can we swap bodies" because she had done so well... and one lady (who got to goal tonight) said "OMG don't say things like that as you are an inspiration and you have kept me going. Wow I was gobsmacked that this lady had said this because I have hardly talked to her.. After the meeting another lady came and said "you are a pleasure to listen to and that I am an inspiration to her and she keeps coming back because of it and also that I should be a leader" Wow I can tell you I got more out of that then losing the 1 kilo tonight because I am not this fat woman that people stare at at the meetings and someone is thinking I am an inspiration.

I had today off sick... We had a pork roast on Sunday and I thnk it didn't agree with me as Monday and Monday night I was not feeling that good and decided since I had most of the night on the loo that I would take the day off work today. I felt bad about it but I think with all that has happened to me in the last couple of weeks I needed the day. I have 9 days sick leave a year and I have had 1 day (now 2) so I don't think I am too bad he he he

My youngest son had his athletics day today and hubby went down in his lunch time to watch him and I went down to pick him up from school and he was standing at the front of all the kids and parents with 8 others and they were chosen as the players of the day OMG this is from the boy that at the cross country decided to take a stick on the fence as he went past... he he he always in his own little world but not today he must have done really well and I didn't make it to it but hubby said he did really well.

My oldest has his athletics day tomorrow so I hope the weather stays right for him.

Anyway going to go and finish my Xmas cards for the year. If any of you want one... email me with your address because I would LOVE to make one for you all....

Love ya all

Weekend

Thursday Night

What a miserable day weather wise it was wet and horrible but went out and got wrapping paper etc for Xmas.

Met Debbie at the gym to have our first joint PT with Crusher and she punished us like you wouldn't believe. She worked us harder than she has ever done before.

We did:
  1. 10 minutes on the bike going up and down the levels each minute
  2. Kickboxing with her while other one was on the ground with the medicine ball going from side to side and OMG my abs were soooo sore as we did it like 5 times with swapping from the kickboxing to medicine ball abs argghhhh.
  3. Treadmill with incline to 4 and run one minute walk and putting the revs up too arghh but I was sweating like you wouldn't believe.
  4. One of us on the rower 500 mtrs - 1st 200 metres fast as and 100 metres slow as we wanted then 200 metres fast as while the other one was on the side doing sit ups for the 200 metres fast and bridge for the 100 metres fast and then sit ups to finish off OMG OMG
  5. Water bike for 15 minutes and she put up the intensity every minute then down for a minute then up and my arms were burning by the end of it.
  6. Then back on the bike for 10 minutes before doing our stretches.

I know on paper it doesn't mean a lot but it was sooooooo hard and I sweated like no bodies business.

Friday
What a beautiful day it was here today. I got up at 5.30am to be at the gym with Crusher at 6am and had an amazing workout and she worked my butt off. It has been soooo much better than Lean in the fact that I have sweated my backside off. I changed my 9am appointment with Crusher to the 6am as Quinn's class of mums decided to get together for a coffee after taking the kids to school so I wanted to go he he he and there was about 9 of us that turned up. It was really nice and relaxing. I walked the boys to school and walked home from the coffee and then went Xmas shopping for little things for xmas (even though all my shopping is finished) and then walked down to the school to pick up the boys.. it was sooo nice to just go for the walk and it didn't have to be exercise but just to get out into the nice weather.

I didn't have my pedometer on for the PT with Crusher but I managed 8061 steps with the other walking for the day so I was pretty pleased with myself.

Saturday
Got up early and did the grocery shopping.

When we got back from grocery shopping we went for a bike ride with the boys to the library to take back some books and get some more and had an icecream... the wind was in our way the whole way back and the boys were sooo tired woohooo meant they would go to bed really well.

Got home and got ready for my work Xmas function.

We had a fabulous night. I must say it wasn't as good as the gym Xmas party but it was on par. The food sucked (which in a way was fantastic as then I didn't eat too much he he he). We danced the night away again and my top at the front was soaking wet he he he.

I got home around 12.40 after dropping Debbie off... with sore knees argghhh

Sunday
Got up early because we were taking hubby's Dad our Skeet Shooting because we said back in June for his 60th birthday present we would take him but the weather and his Dad's schedule didn't match he he he.

We did it today woohooo and I was one of them doing it. Corbin and Quinn had a little go with a 22 with a sight on it to hit one of the balloons on strings and so did some of the other kids that were there. It was all controlled and the boys had some fun... they only had one shot each but it was enough to make them smile.

I wasn't going to have a go but I did and so did hubby's stepmother too we were chuffed.

The idea of the game was that everyone had a go and if you hit a balloon you got to have another go until there was no one left. I got a balloon with my first shot woohoooo (and it was a windy day too). Hubby's Stepmother got her first and so did hubby and his brother and his dad woohooo but we all missed our second except for hubby's dad and he came second and this was our first time he he he

Then after lunch we had a go with the rifles and the skeets... OMG I was soooo nervous and my first shot I hit the skeet WOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I missed the second because I think I was shaking too much and my shoulder was a little sore as the gun has a huge kick back. But I got my third skeet and split it woohooo. I only had 5 turns as I just wanted to try it but not exactly do a lot he he.

I had a great day and was glad it was another thing under my belt for this year. Sometimes it isn't how much you lose but how much it changes your life for the better.
As you can see below these are the balloons that we had
to hit and they were a long way away too but I did it I got one woohooo.
So here I am with the 22 and the sight shaking like you wouldn't believe
because I had about 10 people behind me watching and I had
never shot a gun before.. I really enjoyed it though.
Below is Granddad and Corbin looking at the broken skeets and bullet shells
and Granddad was explaining them to Corbin and also going through all the safety stuff
to make sure he knows it is not a game and to be careful etc.

Here is hubby looking like a real pro woohoo

Can you see the joy in my face OMG I actually hit my fit skeet but OMG OMG my shoulders felt like someone had hit me with a hammer he he he that is why I am holding my shoulder... But I hit my first skeet on my first try woohoooo.

Can you see my skeet up in the right hand corner.... I got it but hubby didn't take the photo at the right time he he he he but I got it. They are bright orange like the guys jacket.

All in all I had the most fabulous day and learnt something else that I wouldn't have done a year ago. That is 7 things I have achieved this year. Roll on next year and some more challenges. Debbie and I want to do some Kayaking next Christmas so I am going to be building up for that next year.

Good night everyone

Private - Comments and feeling down

I have lost motivation in the last 2 days.

I have eaten whatever I liked and felt like crap!! I have done the wrong thing and my weight loss is going to suffer on Tuesday and everytime I look at Debbie I can see the weight falling off her!! It bloody sucks is all I can say and it is making me feel even more down in the dumps.

I know it is my fault and not hers because I have to sort it out in my own head

Breakfast
Berry Smoothie

Morning Tea
Vege chips (3.5 points)

Lunch
1 roll
Left over casserole
Ginger Crunch (OMG I shouldn't have eaten this).

I have had two bottles of water though.. but that isn't a consolation.

I miss posting... but I am scared to post because things are getting back to Daniel and others and I am not sure who the culprit is and I am not happy about it.

I went to the gym yesterday and Hubby and I met Debbie there but I wasn't in to it and I hated it to tell the truth... I didn't want to anything.. I don't want to go tonight and feel the same way. I want to go and work my arse off and stop being negative. I know what Crusher means when I start getting negative it is a bad thing for me... it hinders me and I don't want it to.

At weight watchers I weigh 123.8 and I have to get under the 120's.. OMG what is stopping me I know I can do this and in the last couple of weeks I have proven it but I tend to do really well one week and then the next I think hmmm I am doing well lets cheat a little. But then when I am too strict I can't seem to lose the weight either.

I am making myself soooo upset over this bloody piece of ginger crunch and I want to talk to someone about it but then I don't want to tell anyone that I brought it and then sat in the car where no one could see me to eat it.. how desparate and strange is that?

I have so many comments saying that I should confront Daniel about all this but I don't want!! I shouldn't have to explain myself... I don't honestly care what he thinks. I have not said anything that would have hurt him I feel. I have said I didn't want him as a trainer and he wasn't right for me but that is it and if he is going to listen to Kris about this then he is a fool and that is the end of that subject.

Now on to this business... What am I to do? I am being lazy and not going fast on buying this franchise business because of being scared... OMG I can do this!! What is stopping me. It is a good business and money is coming in so why am I scared... maybe because my mum always makes me feel like I should never take risks so I don't and I have had that drummed in to my head since I was little so any challenge is making me more and more doubt myself. I did that with my jobs too... I always stuffed up and I always did as little as possible in my job and so that stuffed things up for me. I sucked in Advance investments... I couldn't get anything right. I was a bad employee in Payments and Fraser knew that and deep down I knew it too. I just wanted the money but didn't give a damn about the job.

Why do I do it I don't know! I don't want to be a stuff up... and I want to succeed but using my families money to do this business and then not doing it right that I loose the business then I am going to have my family know that I am a screw up.

Positive Positive is what people keep on saying to me... obviously I don't come across as a positive person so I have to work on that. How do I become more positive?

I am being more honest now that I am not writing to everyone out there and writing in here to myself... and to be quite honest I don't know if I want to go back to public writing because then I get all the trouble happening again.

What to do? What to do?

So much fun but paying for it now

We had sooo sooo sooo much fun last night.

I drank too much but had a great time.

I don't think Debbie and I sat down for an entire song for the whole night. Hubby didn't dance the whole night but most of it he he... I don't think he could keep up with Debbie and I.

I couldn't stop smiling the whole night and it was the most fun I had had on a Xmas function in years. We danced so much that my hair was soaking wet the whole night he he he and so a couple of times I had to go and wipe my hair in the ladies he he he and reapply my lipstick. It helped that I had about 3 bourbon and cokes but not enough to make me drunk just enough to make me enjoy myself.

I was proud of myself. I had main meal and dessert but I only ate like quarter of my dessert as I looked at it as realised that I didn't want it or need it and I gave it to the waiter. Now when I first started I would have eaten it because I wouldn't want to waste food... but it didn't bother me that night.

I can't tell you enough that I had a great night. I have sore knees today because of all the dancing... my right knee is swollen and I have been sitting here with an icepak on it but I wouldn't have changed a thing. I also have sore cheeks as we just laughed and smiled all night. There was soooo many people at the Xmas function and met some new people from the gym too and laughed sooo much. We even had a good time with one of the head waiters and giving him hell and he did in return... how great was that.

Our Lean team got together at the gym before the function to support our other trainer Sgt Major as he was working till 7pm and the function started at 6.30. It was good to get there as a team and not go individually and we had a wine there before the start too he he.

We were talking last night and Crusher (even though maybe she had a little too much to drink he he he and won't remember saying it) she turned to me and said "you are just wonderful and you are going to get this weight off I have faith in you" wow that started the night off for me... it was unexpected and I know that I have to believe in myself for it to happen but to have her say that was a great booster too.

We got home about 12.30am and that was a good time for us, even though we wanted to keep going the party had to finish at 12 and we did manage to keep it going a little more he he. It was great to have a great baby sitter like my mum as we could just take our time and enjoy the night and know that my mum was fine with the boys.

The skirt I was wearing last night I brought a week and a half ago and it was in a 22 and I had to pin it with two pins last night because it was falling down my hips.. OMG that was wonderful because I brought it fitting snugly and my mother was witness as she was in the dressing cubicle with me when I tried it on and said that I should get the next size up OMG and then I had to pin it he he he.

I am not going to say this is going to last forever but I think I have found a groove that I want to be in for a while.... I am concentrating on the food more than the exercise. I was concentrating on the exercise so much that I was deep down in the subcontious thinking it would solve the problem. I also think it is because I have finally decided to concentrate on me and get rid of things in my life that weren't helping and concentrate it totally on having fun and enjoying what is right for me.

Pinkkz Karen made me realise that I have to watch how skinny people eat and enjoy the food and not just eat all good all the time because sometimes the body just wants to have something different and some treats. I have been tooooo strict with my food and not mixing it up... and in the last two weeks I have been really thinking about the food but not complusively so it is going to be interesting to see the scales on Tuesday as I didn't weigh in last week as I had an ear infection and hubby didn't wake me up to go to WW meeting grrr.

Rotten weather today but hubby and I went out and did a small grocery shop and got some dvd as the weather was soooo bad that we wanted to just veg with the kids. With life being so hectic in the last couple of months the veg day today was great.

Love ya all

Auckland Meeting with Work

Firstly Woohoooo KAREN congrads on the beautiful wee daughter born today!!! How wonderful!! You will both make such wonderful parents.

Went to Lean this morning and in a way was feeling rushed as I had to leave by 7.15 to get up to Auckland for my meeting with my boss (which by the way I have never met in person) and I have been with this new company 1 year (when they took over our creche).

It was a good workout at Lean today but I seriously think I need a break... I felt like I held people back today. Because the running is not good on my knees in the morning (maybe it is the cold) that when the others were told to run around the shops I walked and so my partner (whoever it was when I got back) missed out because I was late getting back and the others were doing other things. OMG do I hate that it reminds me of being back at school again and I avoided sports and the gym sessions with a note as a kids because I hated hindering other people.... I am feeling it more and more and more and it is getting me down.

I am soooo much better than I used to be last year with my exercise and I know this but I don't like feeling like I am letting people down and I know people will say you aren't letting them down but to me I am letting them down... they are supposed to be doing things to their best ability but with me holding them back is reminding me of school.

In a way realising this is such a big step for me as it is making me realise that the reason I didn't do exercise stemmed from my school days when I was told to do the exercise that I didn't like.... and forced to do it and I think that is why I hated exercise so much.

I had to be up in Auckland by 9am and I ended up leaving at 7.15 which really wasn't enough time with the horrible traffic jams that I came across. I don't know why I wasn't suprised I worked in Auckland for 5 years what was the suprise. I got in to Auckland at 9.15 grrr so I ended up being late. I think I should have not gone to Lean this morning but I am glad I did the exercise anyway.

But they didn't seem to mind. New Market hasn't changed since I worked there that is for sure... still expensive and stuffy he he he but hey that is New Market. The offices there weren't as big as I thought and I thought there would be a couple of office etc but the floor was quite tiny.. it was great to meet some of the people that I had spoken to over the phone over the year.

I was proud of myself at morning tea... my boss brought morning tea and was unpacking them from the food town bag and I was looking at it thinking OMMMMMGGGGG what the hell am I going to do? This is the food:

Mellowpuffs
Lolli bags
Chips
Biscuits
Hummus
Rice crackers

So you can guess I was happy about the rice crackers and hummus but they stuck them at the other end of the table... my boss said "have something" I said in a quiet voice "thank you for this it is great but I have lost 30 kilos and really I can't have this" I could see their looks as if to say OMG you are a big girl and you lost 30 kilos how bloody big were ya he he he in a nice way of course.

I enjoyed meeting all the girls especially one lady and we went out a couple of times downstairs so she could have a smoke to get away from another lady there that I wanted to rip her tongue out by morning tea.. she was the rudest lady I have ever met and wouldn't let anyone say a full sentence without butting in... both me and this other lady were getting quite annoyed.

I learnt so much about my job today... I have been there a year with this one company and hadn't been shown how to use the system I have been tutuing with it and that is how I learnt. It was great. Well our big CEO has said that he wants us to meet once a month OMG that is fine but it is on my day's off so I have to have my days off stuffed up and I don't know if I was happy about that.

But they are thinking about having it in a different region each time... like Christchurch, Wellington, Rotorua, Auckland and of course Waikato so I suppose that isn't too bad and they pay for the travel and the working day.... but still it is my day off hmmmmm decisions.... now don't get me wrong it is great but I have to have someone to take and pick up the kids as I can't do it and hubby did it today but if it was a regular thing I am not sure how his boss will react to it being every month.

I chose sushi for lunch woohooo for me. I also had my weetbix before going to the gym this morning at 5.30am instead of getting a ham bun from the bakery on the way to auckland so that is another thing to chalk up he he he

Hubby made Beef Strognoff (weight watcher recipe) tonight with dinner with veges too and so I think I have been fab!!! with my food. I will lose this week! I don't want my record of no gaining in 5 weeks to stop... I have 4 losses and 1 stay the same and this week coming has to be a loss... it has to.

I thought that everyday I would put a question down and try to answer it. I copied these questions from somewhere a while ago and can't remember where so here goes:

List 10 reasons why you want to lose weight. Which one is the most compelling and why?
  1. To be described as "The skinny one" not "The fat one"
  2. To weigh less than my husband!!!
  3. To go into any shop and buy clothes
  4. To live my life to the fullest
  5. Stop hiding behind my size and to do things for me and not for others
  6. To be able to eat in public and not worry what others think
  7. To be normal
  8. Have the energy to do anything and stop making excuses
  9. To take my vows again but this time not in a fat dress but an amazing one.
  10. To go and play a game with the kids and feel like I should be there.

I think the one out of the ten that makes me want to keep with it a toss up between number 1 and number 4 but really number 4 comes up the best. I want to live life to the fullest... I want to be happy and content and not to focuss on the weight but focuss on my life and doing what I want to do with my family and not be afraid of what others are thinking about my weight.

Hmmm might leave it at that.

Saturday practice for round the bridges

OMG

Got up had my god awful muesli (he he he just because after five days of the same food I am hating muesli now) and then took the boys into the library to choose some books. I love the library with the kids now as they can sit still and read and be good little angels where as about a year ago I could have strangled Quinn he he he he. I was sooo proud of them today just sitting there with their books and reading (well Quinny was looking at pictures but that is a form of reading) and Corbin is reading like 9 year old books (he is only 7)... they were little darlings.

I feel so peaceful in a library like there can be hardly any noise and people have to be quieter than they normally would be. It is so nice and it is like being in a candy store and you have to choose only a couple of things and don't hog at them all he he he.

Debbie texts me to say she had cut her hair and coloured it. I said to her take a picture and send it to me as she was soooooo excited about what it looked like. But she tried and she couldn't he he he so we met at my place and got to see the hair cut and colour and it looked fantastic.

What a change it was!! especially when I usually only see it up and since she cut it so it was just above her shoulders and the colour was a like a light light red with blond highlights it really suited her. We both commented how it was quite similar to mine... and I said "now we can say we are sisters and others won't know he he he he" as we are like only 2 kilos different from each other.

I would like to have my hair the same length as hers.... I used to have blond hair to the middle of my back when I first met hubby and married him and the day after we got married I chopped it off for a change he he he.. I would like to have it a little longer but hey that will be a while yet. I want to have more of a neck and shoulders to show it off with he he he he

Anyway so we took my hubby's car and went in to town where the race will start next weekend and we didn't stop chatting the whole way and it was both of us talking... we were like half way around the walk and I said to her Wow we have gone such a long way and I wouldn't have guessed it... it was amazing and I really enjoyed her company and we walked a similar speed (even though I was quite sore from the run on the treadmill yesterday he he GEE thanks Crusher).

It took us about an hour and a half to get around the walk and I don't think that is too bad for 6.3 km walk. The lake when I walk around here in Hamilton (3.8 kilometres by the council) takes around 50 minutes so we did the 6.3 in quite good time. I was really pleased....

I got to know Debbie so much more too and we talked about things like our Dad's dying etc and it got quite emotional but I think it was good that we finally could talk to someone else that understood.

We came back home and hubby made us chicken wraps with jalapeno hummus, lettuce, carrot, pickles, it was soo yummy.

After that we played PlayStation the star wars Lego one it was sooo cool... I felt like a kid again and Corbin was teaching Debbie how to use the controls and she was loving the killing of the robots he he he she was sooo funny.

We then sang sing star and we are like 20 points difference from each other... it was like we were sisters.. we like quite a lot of things the same. The other night when she came back for dinner we found out that we both love love love love love love (do you get the feeling that we love) pepper and garlic on things and lots of it... soooo funny. I have never met a person that likes it that much (especially pepper).

Unfortunately she had to rush off because she has a BBQ tonight (and when she was looking at the clock she thought it said 4.55 and said she had about fifteen minutes then she had to go home and get a shower and I said to her "Hun it is 5.55" OMG I have never seen someone jump so fast it was like watching the road runner he he he... she is too funny. The BBQ she was going to was her sister's wedding BBQ get together to sort things out for the wedding and she was late late late.

My thighs are in sooo much pain from the running yesterday but Debbie and I think we will go into the gym tomorrow morning and do it together.. she said she was a little nervous but hey we will be running (well jogging). I think I will start off with 10 minutes (1 minute jogging and 1 minute walking) and then take it in a week to 2 minutes of each and then change again or I will get bored I just know it.

Roll on for the weigh in on Tuesday. I have stuck to my food... I have been doing more exercise and stepping it up and it should show something if not I WILL SCREAM!!!!

Anyway I am exhausted.

Blob out day

It is a blob out day today.

Spent the day just being at home...

I must admit I am a little bored with it now as I am now used to doing something everyday exercise wise.

My mum has been in one of her little moods today deciding to punish me with something by doing the silent treatment and staying in her bedroom. I think I have come to the conclusion that it is her problem as she has been doing this all my life... making me feel quilty for something but never telling me what it is and I think that is why we usually go out because it is unbearable sometimes.

I went in her room and said to her that our whole holiday she was saying she missed us etc but when we are at home she doesn't treat us like that and moans about everything all day... the room is messy, the kids playroom is untidy (while they are in there playing), the lawns aren't mowed yet (and it is still on Saturday morning) it is honestly driving me insane in the last couple of weeks. I am 36 years old, this is my family and we have a mortgage and we are married and she still treats me like a 12 year old and does these little tantrums.

I love my mum... she does help us out a lot and she is a lovely lady but I am finally at 36 realising that the little tantrums are her problem and if she is going to stay in her room and sulk and not tell us what the problem is then she will stay there all day and that just makes it more of a problem for her as it doesn't bother me like it used to... it does a little but I am not going to let her do it to me... the mind games just brass me off now.

We made fridge magnets with the boys today with plasterer paris (spelling he he he??) and then painted them... they look so cute. We played playstation and we also spent an hour reading our books. We are trying to teach the boys that they need to sit and read now and then and not just play on computers and watch tv's.

I read some more blogs today as I want to get more inspiration to keep me going on this weight loss journey, and one lady I did read was dietgirl. To be quite honest I have come across her blog so many times by others that read it. I was intimidated because she had stuck to it for so long, and is in a place where I want to be and felt a twang of jealousy... but I take my hat off to her as she is an interesting lady and I think I will keep reading.

Been a little hard to keep on track with Crusher's new progam today because of staying home all day I am nibblish... but I stuck to it... didn't want to mind you... It is hard for me the week after my monthly I find that I want to eat sweet things on that week and it drives me insane. Hmmm but I will battle that.

Good night everyone.
I am tired

Round the bridges

Ok... HO HUM (for you Helena) I have a cold... but I have been watching Down size me on Tuesday nights and the trainer (don't know if I like this woman by the way) said that when you are sick you should still get up and do exercise... so I did!! I went for a practice run of the round the bridges.

Hubby got on the computer and found the map of where the 6.3 km's go and we walked it... went with the kids (which btw we should have left home this time) and did it in 1 hour and 30 minutes and I am sure I probably could have taken 10 to 15 minutes off that if we didn't have them. But there were enough hills in the walk and especially nasty at the end of the 6.3 kms is a nasty one arghhhh but I am glad I did it.

I am not too sure my throat was feeling the same way (as I still have a head cold) but I practiced it and the "Round the bridges" is on the 5th November so that isn't too long away.

Then a week later I have my triathlon with the gym... not sure if you would call it a triathlon but Quintathlon as we have to do:
  1. 12km Walk/Jog
  2. 12km Bike Ride
  3. 4000 metre Rower
  4. 50 Sit ups
  5. 50 Push ups

Crusher seems to think that I can do the 12km's on the 'Round the bridges' but I don't know if I want to do the 12km.

I am doing the 12km's the week after and I have achieved so much this year with my first triathlon, boot camp, tough guy/gal and now the round the bridges and then the second triathlon.

I am not wanting to do these because I love them but just because I want to be in them to say I have achieved it, so the difference between doing the 'Round the bridges' 6.3 km doesn't mean that they mean any less.

I am going to do the 6.3 km's and realised that today that is what I want to do and then the 12km the weekend after. I know... I know Crusher won't be happy as she thinks I can do it and maybe I can but I don't want to do it I think that is the difference this time.

I am also a little worried I am overdoing it for my knee too as I now have both my knees giving me grief and I hate the fact that I feel like I am coming apart.... a little scared that if I keep overdoing it then I am going to get to the stage that I can't do anything at all.

Tomorrow I start my challenge with Crusher and I am a little aprehensive only because I have a choice of 5 meals for 6 weeks and I know what I am like when I can't have something I get bored and I stray... I am going to try try try not to but I think the thing that will let me down is the only choice for breakfast is muesli, yoghurt and fruit and I must admit the yoghurt and fruit for breakfast gives me chills as I hate them mixed.. I know I am a weird chicky but I just don't like it.... but I have to learn to like it because I WANT to get this next 10 kilos OFF

We went and did the groceries this afternoon too...so I spent the whole day walking (I should have worn my pedometer) and finally got to rest at 4.40pm arghhhh.

We got a Dvd out called Zathura and we all quite enjoyed the movie.

Tomorrow if it is a bad day then we are going to sit and make Christmas cards with the kids as we brought them some card and some xmas decorations for their cards and they are itching to make theirs. I reckon it will be fun but messy he he he.

I am going for another walk tomorrow but I think I might leave the hubby and kids home so that I can actually go at a good speed. I haven't practiced enough before this triathlon and it is worrying me a little.

Anyway love ya all
