After yesterday's happy day

After yesterday's happy day and post (below)... today was as great but it wasn't that bad either.

Nothing much happened today but food was ok and it is one day closer to a holiday.

Picked up Corbin at 12.30 today and found out what class he would be in next year! It was good to know where he will be next year that is for sure. He is going to be with a couple of really nice boys that are in his class this year and some girls and I am happy about that. I am a little sad that he won't be in the same class as Kris's daughter but we are still going to see each other at the gym and friends etc so it will be interesting.

I still have some food shopping to do to have everything ready for Christmas lunch but most of the other things are done now.

I got a really nice present from Tania today.... she brought over while I was out a big huge parcel with plates, cups, measuring spoons and cups, mixing bowls, knifes, forks, spoons, tea towels, dishwashing brush... all wrapped up nicely for us for christmas for our camping trips.. It was so thoughtful that I cried a little that she thought about me.

I still don't know what else I need for camping! So I might have to make a list so if anyone knows of some great things for camping please please tell me. I have the beds sorted and the cutlery and the chairs and a table.... outside games and a light and torches and sleeping bags. NOT too sure what other things are great for camping.

Anyway I am back on track my friends!!! I am all go!!! lets go into this new year losing some more weight.

LOVE YOU ALL VERY MUCH

OMG well done hun on such an awesome loss!!!! You so deserved every bit of that loss!!! It is really hard to lose at this time of the year and am not too sure how I will get on today but will keep you posted.
Your camping sounds like lots of fun and the tent looks fantastic! I don't do a lot of camping (but when we have a family we will) so not sure what else you need but am sure some of your readers will be able to help you out!
Take care and if I don't talk to you before hand - I hope you and your whole family have a very merry Christmas and a happy and safe New Year! Bring on 2006 I say!!!

WOW!!! Well done on your 1.1kg loss this week, thats so bloody awesome for this time of year!!!

Your camping sounds really fun, and your tent looks fantastic!!

Sounds like you're pretty sorted on all the camping gear, but one thing we have thats really great is a gas cooker. It has two elements on top - great for a kettle and one pot, and has a space underneath to put a couple of slices of bread to make toast.

Depending on where you're staying, a water tank is good if you don't have drinking water (ours is 10L I think) and maybe a solar shower!

Have fun!!!!

Yay for camping - for most of my childhood and teenage years we went camping for 2-3 weeks every summer. The best thing we took was our duvets and pillows! We always took sleeping bags too, but you'd be surprised how cold it gets at around 3-4am, and our duvets used to be our comfort from home.. so if you can fit them in, I'd recommend it!

Congratulations on the loss. It looks like your tent is the same as ours, we just bought it too & are off on 27 Dec for a test run. One thing I have been tols is get some big plastic bins with lids to keep food & kitchen stuff in, helsp keep it tidy & the sand or dirt out. We are going to keep an eye on what other people have & see what looks like it will work best. My husband built a box onto our trailer so we have extra storage for the stuff we don't use like tent bags, boxes & larger toys, leaves heaps more room in the tent. Merry Christmas & have a lovelt time.

Hi gorgeous, how blimin fantastic a great loss right on Christmas! Well done and so very deserved! We go camping every year too, over to Hahei Beach (Whitianga) we love it! Dont forget the mossie repellant, sunblock and the bbq! We get a powered site with a special lead and take a small bar fridge with us ... we used to use chillibins and the three-way style fridges but in the end we bit the bullet and went for the fridge. Dont forget a clothes line to string up between trees and a torch or two for those late night trips to the loo! Umbrella is handy for the aforesaid trips in the middle of the night when its raining! Have fun! Where are you going? dont forget to tell us all about!!!
