Still not feeling well

I was such a blob today! I don't think I got anything achieved. I am still not feeling well. It has been over a week now and I still feel like the start of a cold... the starttttt of a cold for a week is driving me insane. Scratching feeling in my throat.

OK so tomorrow is my first day of my first week back on track. I know I am going to get slack for saying the following.... but I am not going to Weight Watchers tonight. I am not going because I am not feeling well but not just that I am not going because I have been really bad this week and my mind would not take going below the 15 kilos!!! It just wouldn't and I am not going to give up...... just that I am not going tonight. I don't think that is too bad since end of January I have only missed one night.

That is me for tonight...

It's okay to miss ONE meeting, so long as you are committed to being totally back on track, and not using it as an excuse to have a 'free' day since you're not accountable this week etc.

I agree with Emily. It is perfectly ok to miss one meeting. I know you are determined to lose the weight, so it won't be a problem. Keep warm, drink lots of liquids, rest and get better.

Fully understand where you are coming from mate - last week I stayed the same this week might be a small gain and talk about head games :)

I agree with the others - so long as you get back on track straight away you should be able to negate any gain you might have had this week when you go to weigh next week. Good luck and take care !

It's OK to take one night off as long as you work really hard to achieve a loss the following week, which I know you will because your attitude is where it should be at the moment. You can do it and getting back to basics is the only way.

BTW I don't mind at all if you bookmark my blog either. Thanks and looking forward to following your journey. XX

What everyone else has said CM, it's alright to miss a meeting - better to miss one and keep a good mental thing happening then go and get decouraged, non? I hope you feel better soon, it's not fun being sick and don't stress about the gym, you'll get back there. Maybe some very gentle exercise like a slow, relaxed walk would make you feel a bit better?
