CHUBBYMUM Time to "MAKE MYSELF MY HOBBY" - From 2005 to 2008 I lost 42 kgs and things went wrong in my life with my mum and work and went in to major depression. I am trying my hardest to get back in to it and doing it for me. Going to "Make Myself My Hobby".

2 things I need you to know.
Number One
OMG one of my 101 things to do list has my all time thing I want to try and that is jet skiing...... and I get to do it tomorrow...Yes fellow bloggers TOMORROW woohoooo. My friend Marina phoned this morning and asked if I wanted to finally get out and do it blooodyyyyy hell... scared but excited at the same time. Something else to cross off my list.
I was supposed to be going to a BBQ at Kris's (for her daughters birthday party) and so I phoned and said that Corbin will still be there but I can't. I was a little naughty and I don't usually like doing this sort of thing but F it I am not going to hold my life because of her she has pushed me aside like a piece of rubbish enough times. (bitch I am... aren't I?).
Marina is the one that owns the mansion (which she calls the batch) ohhhhh so excited but scared at the same time.
Hopefully hubby will take photos. Their jetski is like worth more than my bloody car and I paid enough for that as it was he he.
I have been on track and been doing my exercise this week since coming back from camping.... I must say I am really proud of the fact that I only gained 100 grams on camp... really proud as I wasn't wonderful but I was careful so that makes a lot of difference.. This week I better lose that is all I have to say as I am trying my hardest.
Ok..
So for the Second thing..
Anyone interested in a bloggers camping get together in October (Labour weekend)? I thought it would be great to get together again but that it wouldn't have to be that it was at someones house and that way no one was having to do more than they should.... (I felt a little sorry for ChrisH last year with all of us there because wow can she entertain and it must have been a lot of work for her).
So what do you reckon?
9 months away so you have plenty of time to save (not that camping is that expensive anyway?) but if we are to do this then we all need to book it so that we are all in the same area of the camping ground so we can have a great party he he he. So if you have any suggestions as to where we could go then could you please email me at chubbymum@yahoo.co.nz and we can sort that out.
Been really good today: Went for a walk with the family this morning and decided that I would jog at the park for one half of it and then I jogged from one lamp post to another and then I jogged up a hill OMG up a hill... it was exhillerating I can tell you. Jeremy and I have taken a leave of absence from the gym for a month to see if we could still do enough excercise and not have to pay for the gym as it is a lot of money for us and any money saved is good this year. So we have a kickboxing set and a boxing bag, and I am going to get a rebounder, and we are thinking about getting some weights as well (so if anyone knows of anywhere where it is cheap but good please tell me) so that we can do it from home and we can go out for walks (as we don't have a treadmill) and this year isn't the year that we can afford to buy one with buying the caravan.
So Jeremy has done an exercise plan for this week that started last night and I must say I am sticking to it so far.... it has been fun (well it is only really one day let's see what it is like at the end of the week ha ha ha).
I am going to try and get back in to my digital scrapbooking as well because I have been seriously slacking in that arena since November 2007 and need to get back to the creative side of me.
Wow am I rambling on or what....
Look forward to hearing your opinions.

Beautiful Doc Camping
We were like 20 steps from the lake and what a beautiful sight from the caravan in the morning from our bed.
The only thing I didn't quite like was the long drop ewwwww... we have a portable toilet (for number one's only) but if we wanted to do anything else we had to go to the long drop NOPE NOPE NOPE.
The boys loved the lake... and so did I. I went for 2 swims and even got Jeremy in there (he doesn't like how cold it was he he).
Below is the FIL and MIL's House bus that they will be living in permanently from end of this year they think... It is a beauty in side with shower, toilet, little lounge and double bedroom. So nice. The kitchen was lovely too with oven and big fridge etc. On the outside there is even a BBQ that comes out of the side he he he (a picture further down with Quinn cooking off it).
We went for a 45 minute bush walk through to the next camp ground it was a beautiful walk and FIL was showing the boys some plants and their names etc it was great.
When we got back from the walk the friends of the FIL and MIL had their granddaughters and family turn up so the boys had fun playing with the two little girls. The little girls got upset when they had to leave as they were having so much fun.
Quinn below cooking on the BBQ. Little monkey.
Now don't we look relaxed. The caravan was from the friends of FIL and MIL and Jeremy is taking the photo from our caravan. We made like a little circle to make a cosy camp ground. And we had a couple of drinks too he he he.
Below is my father in law and step mother in law having a couple of drinks and it was hard enough getting this photo as she hates photos being taken.
This morning the boys didn't wake till 7.45 so that was good. I expected Corbin to be a pain in the butt and wake up earlier than that and wake everyone up. We found Quinn on the floor asleep... not sure how he managed that but oh well.
I said to Jeremy on Thursday that we needed to check the tyres because one of them wasn't right... well I got the shit for that... there is nothing wrong with the tyre it just need air. I said no it is wobbling when you drive by we... can you see below everyone!!! can ya can ya.. On the way home the tyre BLEW!!!

Lots to talk about today
Was in a bitch of a mood... and I think it was because I didn't like the thought of having to go back to work on Monday...hmmmm grrrrrr.
Went to the gym and worked my butt off but I get the feeling that people just don't want to see me running on the treadmill because I do a 5 minute warm up and then I get ready to do my 1 1/2 minute jog on the treadmill and YEP I got interrupted again... chat chat chatting GEESH why don't people come and talk to me when I am on the weights.... so I managed only 1 1/2 minutes because for the rest of the time I was walking and chatting... so was a little bit upset about that.
Did manage to do my weights and also got on the bloody cross trainer ekkkkkk I hate the bloody thing and the year before last I got up to almost doing 15 minutes on the damn thing but now I can only manage 5 minutes and I feel like I am dying... so I decided yesterday I would do 5 minutes but each minute would get faster so that I didn't have to be on there long but still had to do enough work.... so I think I did pretty well.
Was dissappointed in the gain of 1.6 kilos on Saturday but this morning I was down 700 grams so hey that was ok by me... I think I will do well this week. I have tracked the last week (in a book at home as I didn't get on the computer as much as I liked) and I have exercised and I am watching what I am eating.
I have a 5kg challenge to get it off by the 17th Feb (6 weeks) and I need to do this and stop fucking around. I know I can maintain so I am going to be ok when I get to my personal goal of 75 kilos but I need to shift of the 120's permanently. I am to get to 115.8 DAMN IT!!! This is getting ridiculous and it is not shifting even though I am tracking and keeping to points. I have 117's and 116's and 115's charms for my bracelet to achieve and I want them.!!!
Kris came over in the weekend as Corbin wanted to take Ashley to the Lavender gardens with us (he likes her and she likes him) anyway and Kris said "I want your husband" OMG I said "why?" she said because he plays with the kids and I haven't seen Ashley this happy in ages. Well she knows what she can do about that... talk to her husband or get out of the relationship bloody hell.. anyway so she also said she liked my bracelet and where did I get it and I said hubby brought it for me and I am not sure where... (not going to tell her I know as I don't want that woman to have the same) so at least I know that it does look good and it is a good motivator for me.
I have 4 people on the yahoo group and it is going to be great I can just feel it... we are going to support each other and we are going to lose this weight so thank you guys for joining me and also helping me out in this weight loss journey as I need to email more than just on my blog ya know.
So back to the start... was a little grumpy but had a visit from Pam and Brianna and that was nice and also had a visit from my friend Tania to show us her new dog (it is a sausage dog) and how cute was he.
Also went to the library on Sunday to get more books out and it was great to see both my boys sitting down and reading in the afternoon when we got back and chilling out in this heat (not watching bloody tv or computer) so it was a nice thing.
Didn't get any crafts done but will still keep up with it.
The next month is going to be sooo busy for me.
- I have Lyn's wedding invites
- Going away to Athenree for a week
- 2 weeks off work and 1 in Athenree and 1 week with hubby (as kids go back to school woohoo)
- Staying at my friends batch (Mansion or Bansion as we call it) for the weekend before we are on holiday. Going to go jet skiing and swimming so that is going to be fun.
ARGHHH so full on
Well better get some work done ho hum.

2008 here I come
So far this morning slept in till 9am woohoooo that doesn't happen often but I woke up with another headache... Jeremy seems to think I have a nasel infection or something like that... I think I agree with him.
Corbin and Quinn wanted friends over today so I said we would phone some and so Corbin phoned Cathan to come over and then Jeremy talked to Ange (Cathan's mum) and she said she was going over to their new house (they are building) and would drop him off but he could only stay till lunch as he has a friend coming over... and we said we were going berry picking so he could come with us... well 10 minutes later Cathan phoned and said that he couldn't come over today but Corbin can come over tomorrow... Jeremy thought that was strange so he said can I speak to your mum he said she was in the shower and would get her to phone back...
I went to pick them up from the building site and said to his mum that we could take Kiely as well (his sister) as she gets on with Quinn so well.
My New Year's resolutions are going to happen this year.. I am going to achieve them and they aren't unrealistic I reckon.
Me... telling Jeremy TAKE the DAMN photo please... hate photos he he he
Yummy blueberry's... we got two and a half containers full of blueberrys yummmmmy

And a picture of Quinn and Tahlia... hugging... hmmmm not sure about this one... was being quite protective when they hugged and said now now... you guys are rather young... at least it was only a hug GEESH... OMG I am going to be in trouble with this boy when he gets to be a teenager that is for sure.
This is them making blueberry muffins and Corbin and Jeremy below making them too... sooo cool.
We went for a walk tonight and went the big block too... it was great and then tomorrow morning we are off to the gym woohoooo back on track back on track.
Good night all.

Boxing Day 2007
We went out shopping today... went to to Spotlight OMG am I a craft junkie or what he he he and brought more stamp inks and chipboard stuff and the boys got these Easy Mini Knitter things he he he they are like the one things we used to make on cotton reels with nails and they make like a knitted effect... that has been keeping them occupied and they have said they are going to make snakes wih them.

We also brought two big plastic boxes with wheels on them for only $9.00 each for the boys to put their clothes in for the caravan camping so that we can have the drawers in the caravan for other stuff and that we didn't have to keep taking the table down for them to get their clothes. So little time....
Only 4 weeks to go till Xmas.. OMG does anyone else feel that the year has gone too fast.
Work is going to be bore bore boring today.. one of the creches Directors is away and so I haven't got their work to do grrrrr so that pisses me off... so the day is going to be slow. Think I might do some digital scrapbooking from work he he he... what is a girl to do huh.
Been a bit overwelmed in the last week... there are so many creative things I want to do and when I go to think about doing it I get interrupted by kids or mum and I just wanna be left alone to do it... I suppose that is what happens when you have a family.
I have so many great ideas for Xmas cards and Scrap pages but then I go to do them and I get this... OMG they are not good enough feeling and then all my creative juices just go away... it is the weirdest thing. I suppose it is because I am a Virgo and I am very much a perfectionist... and I think that goes in to the weight loss part of me too... that if I am not perfect then I tend to go on the back burner until my mind says you are doing well... hmmmm I know it makes sense in my mind but reading it... doesn't make sense he he he sigh.
Quinn's class is doing swimming lessons all this week so I have had to leave work early in the morning to take them to school by 8.30 instead of 9am because of their bus leaving for the pools early.. and OMG on the first day he left his swimming stuff on the floor of the garage.. I could have strangled him as I had to go back for it and was a couple of minutes late... teacher was not impressed grrrrr...
On the weightloss front... last week I got my monthly grrr so had a gain last week but I think I am back on track for going down in the scales.. won't be a big loss as I only just finished my monthly yesterday but still going down. I am still tracking and not always making the best choices but I am not doing too bad with keeping within my points so I am happy with that... and the tracking is the main thing aye because it makes you aware of what is going in the mouth.
I have cut down with my V's soooo much you wouldn't believe. I was having 1 a day and now I had first week with 1 in that week and the next week with 2 in the week after... and to be honest I am not enjoying them as much as I used to... so that is a bonus change for me. Saving me a lot of money too he he he.
Water isn't a problem like it used to be... I used to hate water with a passion but haven't minded it in the last three weeks so that is good too.
Been sooo busy with the kids and mums things lately... that I am started to feel like I am just a taxi for everyone...
Milo Soccer, Roller Skating dates, Swimming, Keas (scouts), Keas sleepover, Bingo for mum three nights a week... and not much time for me to do things without having someone there... sometimes I would just like a day that I don't have hubby, kids or mum around.. but I suppose that will never happen.
Corbin was given a form last week as he has had a music aptitude (spelling?) test done and that they want him to learn an instrument. Apparently only a couple of kids a year out of the school have the chance and they get tutors in (it costs the parents of course) $12.50 a half an hour OMG I know it doesn't sound like much but that adds up if they do it every week... but anyway he is allowed to either learn, drums, saxophone, trumpet, clarinet, or flute.. now he said he wanted to learn the saxophone and if he can't then the flute... wellllll I put my foot down on the flute.
If you all don't know already I used to teach the flute and have played at the Tokyo Expo with my flute and travelled playing around NZ and Australia..... and one thing I know is that boys playing the flute get teased as if they were gay... yes I know there is nothing wrong with being gay but with red hair, glasses I am not going to add anything else that can make his life a living hell in intermediate or high school.... I said to him in a nice way that I would prefer if he went for the saxophone or clarinet or drums and that way we can play in a duet together as two flutes aren't as nice... so that has satisfied him at the moment...
So how cool that my son is following in my footsteps with music... it is such a treasure I just can't explain. Mind you his singing is fabulous too... so we might have a fight on our hands together trying to beat each other later on he he he he (we both love sing star).
Anyway I have rambled on enough today... feeling quite glad that I have weeded out my list now to people I know and trust... thank you.
UPDATE:
I have been re-reading through my blog to get some inspiration because I don't want to fall in to not getting this weight off and I found the following link OMG it has made me really take a look at things aye.. I don't wanna go back to this. It just isn't something I want to let happen again.

Roller Skating

See Helena... I know it has taken me a while to go again but I told ya I would he he he.
Tahlia Rose's (Quinn's girlfriend) mother Tracey Lark asked me if Quinn and also the rest of us would like to go Roller Skating so we did. Corbin didn't go as he was at Lachlan's and went to the park etc with him (boy from down the road that visits his Grandparents). We had a lot of fun. It was fantastic!!! Sweated so much. Quinn was soo wiggly and was having fun and said he wants to come back again and again. I think we will go back again he he.
I am sooo happy with my loss this week.. going to try and do the same thing this week and keep to it and track and drink that bloody water that I hate so much.
I know I lost 1.2 but as I have always said it isn't realistic for me to expect that every week so I am aiming for 500grams this week and if I lose more woohooo and if I don't loose enough woohoo as well because I am not going to gain all my weight back and it will take me time.
So this week.... gonna lose some more he he.
Only 5 weeks till XMAS OMG... roll on I say. Only 1 present to get for J's Dad and Step mum and that will be it.

Letting it all out in this post he he
Walked the boys to school and stayed and did the spelling for Quinn's class... got it done faster this time it was much better... Can't wait till the end of the year when I don't have to do it anymore.... I know it sounds bad but I don't mind helping out now and then but not happy that I have to do it every week... especially for Quinn's teacher who I don't really like that much she has no personality at all and then when she does seem really fun and nice she seems false... it bugs me to the max and I am not the only parent that has thought this... I was talking to one of the mums who I get along with and another mum came over and said "sorry about listening in but OMG I feel the same way about the teacher and thought it was just me" so that was nice to know that I wasn't just being a snobby bitch or something like that.
Walked home and then had to take mum to go and get her haircut (all the way across town... I swear she chooses her bingo and hair and everything else all the way over there so she gets a drive he he he)... while she was in getting her hair cut I managed to read my book OMG all you parents out there know how hard it is to catch some time reading a book or doing something in peace it was bliss... had a couple of stares from people thinking you are sitting there reading a book while there are shops out here... phewwwyyy I thought to myself he he he.
We went to The Base afterwards to Briscoes as they were having a 1 day sale at 40 and 50% off things and Mum still had a couple of Xmas presents to get. I got a dressing gown for hubby nice and blue and sooooo snuggly as his has a huge split in it and he said he needs one (so I will give it to him for Xmas with the Debit card we both agreed on getting each other).
I also found a bargain with a duvet at 50% off too... it was nice and in the colours of the inside of the caravan (we needed a duvet that we could leave in the caravan so we didn't keep taking our KING size duvet for a double bed with us he he he couldnt move with it as it was too big and heavy) and then I found some cushions that had the exactly the same colours as the duvet and they had very thin stalks and leaves so it was in the brown, and green (but pale colours) I will have to take a photo of it.. I quite like it. I am not saying that if I had more money that I wouldn't have gotten something nicer but I got 4 cushions and a duvet for $60 so I was sooo happy with that especially with the fact that cushions like these usually cost about $25 each and I got them for $8 each... I was impressed with that.
I left mum there shopping while I came home and caught up on some stuff around the house and then went down to meet the boys at school.. we then picked mum up and came home.
Quinn and Corbin were soooo excited about Keas tonight as they were supposed to be getting invested so we left early so we would be there and when we got there the leader said that they couldn't get the scarfs made in time for the ceremony so it will have to be made this week and we can do it next week.... the boys were dissapointed and I was a little too as I took my camera and all to take the proud moment.
Blonde was there as her son was supposed to be getting invested too. They put up a tent in the hall last night and they had soo much fun as it was like a little camp and read stories in the tent etc... it was quite a big tent. I must say that Blonde has gained a lot... when she left my mum said that she is almost my size.. Now if you guys don't remember the start of me blogging we both went to Weight Watchers together and she was like 78 kilos wanting to get down to 65 and now I do think that she is around 100 kilos and not up to my size but getting there.. I think maybe she is happier now and contented and that is why she is gaining... she seems happier anyway... but her son is still a right pain in the arse that is for sure....
Oh that reminds me.. I saw Kris at the gym. Well she came and interrupted me while I was talking business with the gym owner about the wine bottle labels I am doing for him. She said that they are moving to Dubai in March OMG... that is a long way away... hope it makes her happy.. my oldest will be a little upset as he has a major crush on her daughter Ashley and he told me that Ashley feels the same way.. so we shall see what happens. I didn't tell him that she was moving away. I suppose I sort of think it is another whim of hers that will change as soon as she changes her undies.
So we went and got on the treadmill (I swear that the treadmill has a sign on it saying CM would like everyone to come and talk to her while she is trying to do some running GEESH) so I was doing my 1 minute on 1 minute off and in the middle of the running bit she came over so I had to stop running and start walking as I cannot talk while running... grrrr was soooo wanting to just keep going. Anyway... back to the subject... Kris said that she has gained 20 kilos and is back up to triple figures.. OMG that happened in only 6 months. I must say I don't like her at 100 kilos and I certainly thought she was too skinny at 80 kilos but the 90 kilos with how tall she is really suited her I hope she does go back to losing and doesn't gain it all back.
Jeremy seemed to think that she has gained it all back because she didn't do it slowly enough and that she didn't change the habits so that she wouldn't go back to being big. He said that he knows I am not losing as fast as I want but that he doesn't think that I will gain it all back because I am doing the leg work to change habits. I must admit that I agree... I get angry that I am not losing as fast as others but for me it wouldn't be good because I have done that before and I need to change my habits for it to stay off long term. Don't get me wrong others do it fast and keep it off just as well... but FOR ME it isn't good.... so it made me feel differently about it.
I am a little apprehensive about getting on the scales tomorrow morning. I have been good apart from a little slip up in my lunch yesterday but I think I will have a nice loss... more than my 500 grams but not a hell of a lot more.. so we shall see... I think I am back on track... and hey if in another 6 weeks I do the off the track thing... I certainly know that I will get back on track again... it is just what I seem to do.
My two email buddies... thanks for the last week you don't know how much it means to me!! MWAHHHH.
Anyway better get moving and go to watch Corbin at his swimming today...
Bloody terrible weather today.. sort of day I should be up in bed all snuggly reading my book.
So..... has anyone checked out my scrapbooking page???? I am doing a lot lately and sooo happy with them. Did another one last night.
Love ya all

Thank you and some George news
Anyway last night we had arranged to have Pam and her son and daughter over for dinner (as they don't have much money for food but I wasn't going to say that I knew just thought would invite her) Anyway I was supposed to be picking up the Pam's daughter from dancing but Pam turned up with her a half an hour earlier with the daughter crying... I thought OMG what is happening here.
Apparently George text Pam to see if he could have some daughter daddy time WOHOOO GEORGE I knew he was a good man just that all the emotions were getting in the way... so he listened to Jeremy and made an attempt.
Pam said that it would be fine but it can't be on Wednesday because Brianna is organised for something already and Thursday she has a counsellor meeting so hopefully they will get it sorted.
Pam said that the daughter (we shall call her B ok) still keeps saying she hates her Dad and has been sooo upset and crying that she didn't want to stay at dancing and she wanted to come to our place... that was fine by me. Pam took the son to soccer practice and left B with me.
So B and I went to Woolworths to get some stuff to go with dinner (left my boys with mum) and I started off asking her little questions about her day and then we got on to holidays and then she mentioned her Dad on the holiday and I gradually got the conversation over to the fact that he texted her mum....
She said "I hate my Dad" I said B I don't think you hate your Dad you do love him but are feeling hurt. She just looked at me and I said "So why do you hate your Dad" she said because he promises stuff and never sticks to it" she gave me some examples and I had a chat and said that sometimes adults are off in their own world and don't realise that when they say something it means a lot to someone else and that her Dad loves her and is trying now to make up for what he has done.
I said to her that she needs to tell her daddy what she is thinking because if she doesn't he won't know how she is feeling and so he keeps doing what he has always done.
She thought about it for a while and then started talking and talking to me and I think she might be thinking it will be a good thing and that she will try but she doesn't want to have his fiancee there at all and wants it to be quality time with her... so I am hoping that she tells him and that he listens and trys...
BUT it is a start don't you think?
When we came back we made cards and I got all my Xmas stamps and glittery things and all sorts and the boys, me and B made cards and it was fun and she was sooo happy and smiling and she made me a Xmas card but she said that I am not allowed it yet so she will post it to me before Xmas... that was sweet.
The night went really well and hopefully things are going to come right.
When I told Jeremy he high fived me... it was great because George listened to Jeremy and I am proud of my husband and it must have been the right person at the right time that made George think about the situation... so hopefully in the future we can do some more subtle talking to George and see what happens.
Anyway will update later about the day he he he
Hopefully going to the gym tonight..
OH OH OH OH OH if you go here and see a skirt (as you can see in the photo at the bottom of the post)wellllllll I had this skirt taken in at the waste and sides because I liked the pattern so much so my friend took it in so it was sooo tight that when I lost weight I would be happier in it WELLLLLLL it is big again and I don't think I will be able to wear it in a couple of weeks because it will start to fall off.. I am soooooo chuffed about it but not because I like this skirt... but but but I am wearing it today but thinking about getting a pin to take it in in the waste he he he he sooooooooooo chuffed that I am losing the centimetres he he he.

Mt Maunganui
So that being sorted... we took off for Mt Maunganui with mum, the boys and us... got to Cambridge and Quinn was looking pale and in pain so we thought he was constipated so stopped at the super loo's but he went in there but couldn't do anything and then got really quiet.... and was scaring me a little bit (as Quinn is never quiet and always talking ALWAYS) so we stopped at this one gas station place on the way to Mt Maunganui.
We were going to get him something to eat but then he went all pale on us and got us worried. We said to him he needed to go to the loo and so we went to the back of the gas station and sat him on the loo... Corbin and I left Jeremy with him in the loo and I went back out to talk to the lady in the shop out the front... she overheard us and was really caring and I was asking her how much the Auto magazine was (as Quinn loves cars and I wanted to distract him) she said hold on a bit... and she went to the back and got us two auto magazines for Quinn to have on the trip.
We were there about 20 minutes and Quinn must of been constipated because when he came out he was smiling and the lady was happy that everything was good.... and sooooo were we that is for sure.. it was scary and I know when you read this it doesn't sound like much but he was so pale that I was wondering if it was a appendicitis wohooo it wasn't.
We took off for The Mount and stopped to let off Mum at Bayfair Shopping Centre and went in to K Mart with her as there was a sale on. I brought some baskets for my crafts and we got Corbin a swing ball soccer set sooo cool (for xmas). Mum brought a car set for Quinn for Xmas and she got Jeremy and I Kickboxing gloves for our anniversary... We were so happy with that as we would like to do some exercise at home and show the kids that exercise is great. I love kickboxing it is so much fun. Glad we went in now he he he. Got some Xmas presents sorted and that is always a bonus.
Left mum there and we went to the beach. It was lovely and I got to take some photos and spent time with the family. There are some scrapbooking pages below for you to see... sooooo cool doing some pages again I have missed that.
The boys had so much fun and they jumped right in to the water and loved the waves and I was bloody cold just thinking about it we just couldn't keep them out. Their shorts were soaking wet and I just stood there thinking oh well what can I do. We walked for about an hour and a half down the beach and back and my calf muscles are sore now. The day wasn't beautiful but it was a good enough day and better than staying home.
Corbin found a stick and was having fun writing things so Quinn decided he would find one too but the thing was twice the size of him he he he looked so cute (see below). He so loved this and it made a trail and said "now we can find our way back" (just like in Hansel and Gretal he he.
Corbin read his book on the way there and was concerned about his brother when he was sick and for all their argueing he does really care about Quinn a lot. I always thought he would hate the sea for some reason... he just wanted to jump in and swim today and it is only spring. His shorts were soaking wet once we had finished but he had the time of his life... didn't want to leave.

Day Fourteen - Leenie Challenge
Went to work and had Debbie back from a 3 week work experience in another creche and then back again and said to me that I am looking really good and that she would like to have my clothes when they are too big for me. I felt like saying to her that if she was losing the weight she wouldn't need my clothes but didn't want to get in to that. Apparently the other teachers were saying that she is eating chocolate every day and just not wanting to lose the weight.
I want to say something to her but it got to be such a battle where I was propping her up all the time and helping her lose the weight that I wasn't concentrating on my own weight loss. I might say something subtle and see how I go because I don't want her to go backwards but I am certainly not going to be concentrating on her weight loss anymore either.... so we shall see.
Went shopping yesterday to get a Fathers day present for hubby and OMG is he hard to buy for or what. I am tired of buying him books and CD's OMG for 18 years all he wants for Xmas and Birthdays is Books and CD's and I do understand that it is nice to get things that you like but it gets a little boring for the people buying. So I brought something (now I am not telling you right now because he reads this blog sometimes and I don't want him to know what the boys got him... but it wasn't a book or a CD wooohoooo me!!).
I was so down in the dumps last week when I felt I was gaining weight and I was doing well. I was telling my email buddy all about it everyday and she must have been getting annoyed he he he but I just could feel the clothes getting tighter... well yesterday I finished my monthly and OMG do I feel good today and feel like I am back where I was a week ago... it is bliss. I was getting upset because I knew I had been trying hard to be good and it didn't feel right.
Has anyone else noticed when they had lost a lot of weight that their monthly's were different. I never used to go longer that 5 days and now they are longer and also it used to be like a 38 day cycle and now it is a 28 day cycle... I know I know it is great that it is normal health wise but OMG I don't feel like it is great when I have more of them a year now he he he but I am also feeling really moody (when I didn't before) and heavy and angry... it is the weirdest thing ever.
Anyway have a good night everyone

Caught in a web of indecision
You guys know what my weekends are like and ever since I have been to that parenting seminar I have been spending even more quality time with the kids.... so let's see what have we done
Saturday was busy shopping with the kids getting Lego and jigsaw puzzles because we knew the rest of the weekend was going to be crappy so we organised with the kids that from Saturday afternoon till Sunday morning we would have a camp out in the lounge... so we got their mattresses from their beds and their duevets and pillow and we camped in the lounge with popcorn and chippies and drinks and we played Lego and jigsaw puzzles and watched DVD's and basically spent time in our PJ's just doing things with them. It was great and the day went really fast and they even got to stay up till around 10pm watching the rugby (as we never let them stay up past 7.30 he he but I felt generous).... half way through the rugby they fell asleep woohooo so we got some time me and hubby chatting... We also went for a walk down and back on the river as it was nice in the morning when we went.
I totally enjoyed that day doing that and spending money on jigsaws as well.
Sunday was a miserable day but it was not going to stop me doing my exercise.... so we all got our raincoats, boots, umbrellas and warm weather gear on and went for a walk in the rain... I swear the people out there thought we were completely nutty but we enjoyed it and the boys got to trample in the puddles etc so that was great. We went 6,320 steps on our walk so I was pleased with that and felt that I didn't mind spending the rest of the day doing jigsaw puzzles and watching tv... woooohooo for us. I was smiling in the rain because the boys weren't too happy we were doing it at the start but they totally enjoyed it while we were out. We did manage to stop at the coffee shop and have a hot chocolate so that made their days too.
So I am back at work today boo hoo and not feeling like I want to be here but I am and hey that is life.
As you all know I haven't been going to Weight Watchers for about a month because I have been paying for it and feeling like I wasn't learning anything new out of it and that I could do it on my own....
Well anyway a lady turned up in my office today from Weight Watchers (not the leaders just a lady loosing weight) and said that she couldn't miss the opportunity (as her company delivers the bread to our creche) and she told them that she would go and deliver it today and so..... anyway she came in to my office and said that everyone is missing me and that I am such an inspiration to her and the reason she kept going and for me not to be there is quite a downer now.
Said that she was sad to hear that I wouldn't be coming back... OH GOD now I feel quilty but happy at the same time because I didn't want to leave as I made some great friends but I couldn't justify the money either for the yoyoing I had been doing but I might reconsider as this might be the push that I needed??? She didn't have to do that and it was a nice thing for her to take time out to come and tell me that... hmmmm lots of pondering is going to be happening I think.
I was telling her about my delima with Debbie and that I felt like the competition wasn't good and I didn't want to ruin our friendship either and she said "she is such a negative person and I would much rather that you were there instead of her and that I should still be going and if the friendship was worth it then it would get through it" OKKKKKK so that made me feel like a bitch for saying it because I can lose this weight if I want to I just have to work out a way that I can not let Debbie and her competing get to me... I know it is in my head but it is hard to compete with a person that is 10 years younger and doesn't have anything stopping her because she is single with no kids etc....
I just don't know what to do. I spoke to hubby on the phone and he said the reasons that I left Weight Watchers were right and that I was spending money for nothing and that I know what to do I just have to do it and that is what we are working on at home. So now that made me even more confused... I don't know what I want to do.... sigh
I am feeling really great about the steps diet I am doing as it is a little like Weight Watchers but if I want something naughty I need to do more steps etc to make up for it and it seems sooo simple to me. But I do love the support I get from the ladies at WW too... grrrr
Anyway before I do my head in I am going to go.
I really should be blonde shouldn't I.... ditzy bitch I am.
Love ya

Tuesday... day off with hubby and no kids woohoo
I don't go back to work till Monday and my week off is going to fast already. I don't go back till Monday but I don't want to go back at all. I have been enjoying doing my Papaya business in the last couple of days.
Today got up (didn't wanna he he he too cold and raining) and Jeremy and I took the boys to school and went in their classrooms and saw their work and did things together until the bell went.
Then we took off for the gym and to be quite honest we got to the door and I said "don't really wanna be here" and so hubby smiled and turned to go out and I said "No we are here now" we went towards the main room and OMG you could feel the enthusiasm NOT and so I said to him let's go and do the tone class OMG OMG WHY DID I SAY THAT.... Liz was doing the class and OMG she worked us like a dog and I did running and weights and sit ups and thighs and butts and calves and tummies ACTUALLY everything in my body hurts big time..... arghhhhhh.
Went shopping afterwards for food and then shopping for papers for more invitations to make for the wedding expo (which is getting toooooooo close) and then came home and painted my picture frames for the expo while hubby made such a yummy lunch. We made pasta bows with the kids yesterday so there was some left and we cooked it with shredded chicken and mushrooms and hmmmm what a lovely dinner.
Another recipe we tried today was the Weight Watchers Chilli con-carne from the Really Contented Tummy cookbook and it was done with gravy beef instead of mince and it was the yummiest chilli ever and the boys loved it too.
Picked up the kids from school and took them out for a fluffy and we had a coffee for lunch today it was nice relaxing and talking with them and Corbin was reading his book for a while soooo cute.
I have been good with food this week but with my monthly things don't look good for the scales. I am not quite getting it... and have been talking with Jeremy about it because I can't understand why I am not losing as I am not eating anything that I shouldn't and I have been having ok portions and not as big as normal and I have also been doing exercise.
Maybe my body is sooo used to what I am doing that I am not losing weight.. or maybe it is because I am contented at the moment and I like spending time on my business and not totally focussing on the food. I can't quite understand where I want to be focussing at the moment. I want to loose weight and I want to do my business but I can't seem to focus on them both... quite upset about it...
Quite a good day but went too fast aye....
Love ya all

Friday Trivial Pursuit and Soccer
Friday morning I spent most of day in bed as I have not been sleeping properly and reading my book... it was great.
Friday night was spent at the kids school at the Trivial Pursuit night raising money for the PTA... what a hoot of a night. Tania got the group of us together and she organised the wigs and bows and balloons and it didn't take much but it was funny.
BUT we won!!! We won best team costume of the night wooohooooo.... it was great. There were sixteen groups and we came eighth place but that was better than coming last aye. It was a fabulous night out with friends and we got home about 11pm and I got to sleep about 12 he he. Below me with orange hair and hubby with purple and my friend Tanya is in the pink.

Below in pink is Tanya my friend.

Saturday
This morning got up had breakfast with the kids and then got ready for soccer again. Went to Corbin's team and they were playing so well. I think they get to the stage that the teams have all been playing for a while that it gets harder and harder to get goals.
They played so well and I was screaming on the sidelines as well as some of the other mums he he he it was great... they were great but just after half time I had to go and take Quinn to his game.
Quinn's game started with a big bang!!! Quinn almost got a goal but it got hit off the goal post grrr but went straight back within in a few minutes and got his first goal out of 3 goals today OMG he is a goal hogger he he he. His team won 7 goals to 4 woohooooo that is fantastic....
This is his team after the game all standing there buggered but so happy with themselves. Quinn on the far left (got 3 goals) Matt is next to him (got 1 goal) Benjamin is next to him (2 goals) and the boy on the far left is Ben (1 goal)...
Hubby's Dad and step mum came to watch Quinn play and then afterwards we took the boys to McDonalds for lunch and then took the food over to the park across the road and when they finished eating we got the autumn leaves and starting throwing them.... I am not too sure that I like the photos of me but hey... have to get used to photos aye.

More photos in the next post down.
