Oh bummer about your weekend. It must have been a hungry weekend all over as I pigged out way too much too.

Just wondering if you know that I am doing the 10 week challenge? Do you think you could put my name down?

Thanks
Lisa

Just checking in to say hi! You must be so proud of your boys with their soccer and school adventures and I think you should be proud of yourself as well. For being a fantastic mum but also for making headway with your own goals, like the invite business. You'll get there with the weight loss too, I know it. :)

I don't know if you've had the wedding expo yet but if not, perhaps display some of your invites on a bookholder like this one. They normally have a little ledge or you could blu-tack them on....that would add some more depth to your stand.

Have a really good week. XD

Hi deary,
I can see that your feeling really upset with yourself and although theres probably nothing much I can say that will make you feel better I do want to write about something that has really helped my appetite as it may help you as well.

Firstly I know that we are all different and what works for me, may not be something that you find is good for you but I really want to just tell you anyway as I would be kicking myself if I didn't say something then find that it could be a help to you as well.

I used to have quite a problem with my appetite. I would desperately try to keep within my ww points etc, but would find that I still felt hungry.

I was then told about how our body process's certain types of food and the order it uses carbs/fats/sugar during exercise. My doctor explained how I could help control my appetite by limiting my carbs.

There are two reasons that I am keeping my carbs low. One is because our bodies will use carbs first (for energy) but if they don't have a source of carbs to burn up, then our bodies are forced to burn its own fat.

The second thing about doing low carbs is that when you run out of carbs your body will crave more. So if I eat toast for breakfast, by lunch they will be gone and I will be hungry as my body craves more carbs. Basically when I eat protein and fibre type foods, this actually creates a natural appetite supressent and I don't experience the same kind of intense hunger that I used to.

Eating less carbs has been like a life saver to me as I feel I am now able to control my appetite rather then feeling really hungry alot of the time.

I find I'm like that the week before TTOM, nothing I do seems to make it better, just have to accept it for what it is ... hormones!! Not sure if that's your problem but something to be aware of.

Like Wanna said ... tomorrow is another day, don't worry bout the past only the future!! You'll get there!!

It's hard when you hit winter and just want to eat for the hibernation period. I am trying to fill up on stews etc which don't really have too much fat, just real beef stock and spices and veges and then some potato. Great comfy food. Have you got the weight watchers recipe book, Contented Tummy?? It has some great recipes in it.

God I know that feeling where you can eat just about anything and everything and still not feel satisfied. Then the feelings of failure amd remorse that follow really suck and make me want to eat even more. We all have those moments, you are not alone, have a HUGE DUMMY SPIT as it helped me a couple of weeks ago. Were all here for you - BIG HUGS!!!
